No camera for me this year, so all the pictures are taken with my phone. Unfortunately I also had to leave before the entire caravan of cars had passed by, no great loss because this year’s event was noticeably less interesting than in previous years. The Mille Miglia is great for the participating cars if you like that sort of thing (anything made before the fifties isn’t my cup of tea), but the main draw has always been the cornucopia of brilliant exotics and oddities which followed. Unfortunately this year there were far fewer, having Villa D’Este on the same weekend didn’t help!

I remember finding some posters about the race when walking around near Siena. It was interesting seeing the actual areas where this is run. Too bad I just missed it while I was over there!
